PR Intern: IKEA Ltd

Leading home furnishing retailer with 15 stores in the UK and 244 stores worldwide. Our business idea is to offer a wide range of well designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them.

Length of placement: 3 months

Location: IKEA Service Office 255 North Circular Road London NW10 0JQ

Study/experience gained: Deep understanding of how the national press office operates with direct involvement in day-to-day operations, internal and external meetings and projects.

Study/experience required: Excellent phone and writing skills. PR, Communications or Marketing background.

Expenses: None

Supervision: One member of the PR team (Giorgio Rondelli) will supervise the intern explaining how we operate and why we carry out specific activities in the context of the overall UK PR and Marketing strategy. The intern will refer to the supervisor or any other member of the team for any support and guidance.
